Apply to upsize a commercial water meter service

Have your hydraulic engineer's report ready to upload

To apply to upsize a water meter, you must provide a hydraulic engineer's report indicating:

• Existing water meter number
• Recommendation of replacement size in accordance with relevant building standards (e.g. BCA, Plumbing and drainage standards, NSW Fire Service requirements)
• Water sizing calculations
• Plans of the premises indicating all essential services (e.g. fire services, backflow prevention devices)
• Water pressure certificate (if relevant)

Submit the online application form

Upload relevant documentation to support your request, i.e. hydraulic engineer's report, plans, certificates, etc.

On receipt of your application, we will:

1. Review the application to determine viability
2. Issue a payment advice (invoice)

On receipt of payment, we will schedule the upsize of the current meter with the approved resized meter. You must ensure the site has a two (2) metre square clearance where the work is to occur.

Upsizing a meter will take to up 20 business days from date of payment.
