Apply to downsize a commercial water meter service

When business requirements change, larger meters installed on a commercial property may no longer be required. The option to downsize your water meter is available.

Downsizing a water meter will affect water pressure to a property so any proposed changes must comply with relevant building and plumbing standards.

All downsizing requests will be subject to assessment and approval by Shoalhaven Water.

Commercial property downsizing applications and payment of fees is the responsibility of:

  • Property owners, or
  • Secretary of body corporate (non-residential strata units)

Should unforeseen circumstances occur during works further fees may be charged.
