Tapstar Appearences
Tapstar is making a splash in the community with several appearances around the Shoalhaven. Keep an eye out for him in the Ulladulla Blessing of the Fleet Parade on Easter Sunday as well as at the Shoalhaven Youth Festival at Sanctuary Point on April 14. Tapstar has also been making visits to some of our local preschools and will attend the Bubs and Kidz Expo at the UOW Shoalhaven Campus early in May.

Seniors Week – March 2013
Shoalhaven Water proudly supported Seniors Week by conducting an educational treatment plant tour with the group attended the Bamarang Water Treatment Plant and the Callala Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Shoalhaven Agricultural Shows – February 2013
Shoalhaven Water proudly supported the Agricultural Shows attending the Berry, Nowra, Kangaroo Valley and Milton Shows. Tapstar and Dripette also made appearances helping to educate the kids on important water saving techniques.
National Water Week – October 2012
Shoalhaven Water recently celebrated National Water Week with a Tapstar School Education Program, a Treatment Plant Tour, and a Photographic Competition. All events were aimed at raising awareness in the Value of Water.
Local Government Week – August 2012
Shoalhaven Water and Shoalhaven City Council’s Waste Services will be conducting treatment plant tours of some of the Shoalhaven’s biggest treatment facilities. For further information contact Shoalhaven Water directly on 4429 3214.
Shoalhaven Careers Expo – June 2012
This annual event caters to over 1000 students from across the Shoalhaven by offering information relating to current jobs in the industry, future training opportunities and informing young people of various career choices. The event will be held at the Shoalhaven Campus, West Nowra on Monday 25 June.
Blessing of the Fleet Parade – April 2012
Tapstar proudly joins in the fun at one of the biggest street parades in NSW at Ulladulla’s annual Easter Sunday Blessing of the Fleet Festival.
Tapstar visits Ashfield Library – April 2012
Tapstar makes a special appearance for school holiday fun activities at the Ashfield Library, where kids of all ages enjoyed the crazy interactive water education show.
Local Country Shows – February 2012
Shoalhaven Water proudly supported this year’s Local Country Shows to promote its customer survey strategy. Tapstar also attended the shows making an appearance at Berry, Nowra and Milton Shows.
Clean up Conjola Day – March 2012
Shoalhaven Water proudly supported the residents of Lake Conjola with their annual clean up day. With 30 local residents on board they collected over 280kg of rubbish from around the area with more than half of this able to be recycled.
National Water Week - October 2011
This year National Water Week aims to raise awareness of the importance of taking care of our catchment areas with the theme being ‘Healthy Catchments, Healthy Communities’.

Local Government Week - August 2011
Shoalhaven Water conducts tours of the Bamarang Water Treatment Plant and the Callala Wastewater Treatment Plant to provide participants a firsthand experience of the water and wastewater treatment process.
Tapstar visits South Australia Water - July 2011
Tapstar participates in the South Australian Brain Wave program at the South Australia Water Learning Centre where they delivered the basic message of wastewater sustainability through the inclusion of a new play targeting the discharge of inappropriate wastes into the sewerage system.
Shoalhaven Student Careers Expo - July 2011
Shoalhaven Water attends the student career information day at the Shoalhaven Campus at West Nowra providing students valuable information on a vast range of career opportunities in the water industry as well as information on other pathways to study.

Tapstar – National Water Week - October 2009
The National Water Week 2008 theme of "clean water: essential for life" was celebrated in the Shoalhaven by children from five schools including St Michaels, Shoalhaven Heads Public, Illaroo Road Public, Bomaderry Public and Huskisson.
North Nowra Netball Club
Shoalhaven Water sponsored North Nowra Netball team which carried business logo on bibs and shirts, and gained free advertising in monthly newsletter.
