This fun and interactive show travels throughout Australia and is a delight to all who view it as it captures the imagination of all.
What is the Tapstar Show?
The Tapstar show is aimed at primary school children (K-6) and focuses on a typical Australian family called the Wasting’s and it deals with the important issues of water conservation and water quality in a fun and entertaining way.
Our water saving superheros Tapstar and Dripette along with the assistance of the children in the audience come to the rescue and convert the Wasting’s family to Water Wise graduates.
The performance incorporates singing, scientific demonstrations, puppetry and audience participation to get water conservation and water quality messages through to a young audience in a fun and engaging way.
There are two fun and interactive shows:
The Water Show – Discover where water comes from and how precious this resource is. This show is interactive with students being invited to come on stage and participate in the fun games, songs and activities.
The Wastewater Show – Join the Tapstar Team as they discover what should and what should not go down the drain. This program was created to educate children on what happens to water as it enters drains and sinks and how our behaviour can affect the quality of water that ends up in our waterways.
The Full Show – this show is aimed at 5–12 year olds and it goes for approximately 45 minutes. It is best performed on a stage in your school hall or performed outdoors under a COLA. The show has a fun element of audience participation and has a recommended audience size of 100+.
The Shorter Show - this show goes for approximately 30 minutes is best performed at outdoor events or at preschools. The messages remain the same and include some songs and interactivity but without the storyline. This is a great show stopper which always attracts attention.
Community Events – Always a crowd pleaser, the Tapstar Team love to attend community events where they mingle with the crowd promoting water conservation messages and current water strategies.
